The Course

The program reconnects students with porcelain as a material of both technical complexity and poetic potential. Traditionally associated with refinement, ritual, and preciousness, porcelain becomes the foundation on which each student builds a contemporary design language, reinterpreted through hands-on research and material exploration.

The curriculum moves through the key dimensions of porcelain jewelry making: foundations of material behavior and properties, forming and construction techniques including hand modelling, carving, and mold-based processes, and surface experimentation through glazes, pigments, and third firing techniques with lustres and precious metals. Technical skill and expressive research develop in parallel throughout the course.

Set in Florence, within the historic artisan districts of Santo Spirito and San Frediano, the course takes place in an urban environment where craft culture, creative practice, and contemporary making naturally coexist.

Final Project

The course concludes with the creation of a small collection of original porcelain jewelry pieces, entirely conceived and crafted by each student. From initial material research to finished wearable objects, participants develop their own formal and expressive language, working with porcelain, glazes, and surface treatments to produce a cohesive body of work that reflects their technical growth and individual design sensibility.

The Course

The Vintage Fashion & Upcycling course explores fashion as a process of reinterpretation, where existing garments become the starting point for new ideas, aesthetics, and forms of expression.

The program combines fashion culture, visual research, and hands-on practice within an experimental studio environment.

Participants learn to observe, deconstruct, modify, and reimagine vintage clothing through a contemporary perspective, developing an approach that values process, uniqueness, and material awareness.

Through creative exercises and practical workshops, students engage with fashion as an evolving dialogue between past references and present sensibilities.

Surrounded by Florence’s artisanal and cultural atmosphere, the course invites participants to slow down, observe, and develop a personal relationship with garments, materials, and making.

Through experimentation, transformation, and shared studio practice, students explore fashion as a living language where memory, identity, and contemporary culture intersect.

Final Project

Throughout the program, participants develop a final project, translating their research, intuition, and creative process into an original upcycled garment.

From the first material explorations to the final construction, each student works with vintage garments and hands-on studio techniques to produce a finished piece that reflects their creative choices, material sensibility, and individual relationship with fashion as a living, transformative practice.

Final Project

The Course

The program begins with the material itself: clay, porcelain, and glazes, and builds outward toward design thinking and object conception.

Students learn by doing, developing technical confidence through direct experimentation and gradually translating that knowledge into a coherent design practice.

Form, texture, surface, and function are explored not as separate concerns but as dimensions of a single making process. As students grow more fluent in the material, they begin to develop their own objects, conceived and refined through making.

Experimentation remains at the center of the program from the first session to the last.

Set in Florence, the course unfolds within a city where craft culture and contemporary design thinking have long been in dialogue, offering students both the tools and the context to develop  an individual creative and craft practice

Final Project

The course concludes with the development of a small capsule collection of ceramic objects, entirely conceived, crafted, and finished by each student.

From first material experiments to resolved design objects, participants move through the full making process, working with clay, porcelain, and glazes to produce a cohesive body of work that reflects their technical progress, design thinking, and individual material sensibility.

Final project

The course

The program introduces students to the foundational principles of fragrance design, from the architecture of the fragrance pyramid to the creative and cultural languages of scent. Through guided olfactory research, participants develop a first vocabulary and sensitivity needed to read, interpret, and compose fragrances with intention and awareness.

Laboratory sessions run alongside conceptual work, giving students direct experience with raw materials, blending techniques, and the creation of scented waters.

The course treats perfumery not as a technical discipline alone, but as a space where sensory knowledge, personal expression, and design thinking converge.

Rooted in Florence’s rich tradition of botanical and artisanal culture, the program opens a new creative dimension for students coming from design, fashion, fine arts, or any field where identity and material expression intersect.

Final Project

The course concludes with the creation of an original scented water, entirely composed by each student through their own olfactory research and blending process.

Alongside the fragrance itself, students develop an olfactory identity study: a creative and strategic exploration of scent as personal and brand expression, documenting the conceptual path from first sensory impressions to a real fragrance identity.

Final Project

The Course

The program invites students to engage with food from two interconnected perspectives: the making, through foundational culinary technique and ingredient knowledge, and the designing, through creative research into composition, presentation, and the cultural languages of food. Both dimensions develop in parallel throughout the course.

Students learn to think through a dish from concept to plate, bringing intention to every element of the culinary experience.

Through hands-on kitchen sessions and creative exercises, they develop an approach that values process, material awareness, and sensory experimentation as much as technical skill.

Set in Florence, the course draws on a living culinary culture as its backdrop, encouraging students to explore Italian food traditions not as fixed references but as a living, evolving source of creative inspiration.

Final Project

The course concludes with the presentation of an original dish and a concise culinary design project, entirely conceived and developed by each student.

From initial research to final plate, participants document their creative process, combining cooking technique, ingredient knowledge, and visual composition to produce a proposition that reflects both their culinary sensibility and their understanding of food as a designed experience.
