You will focus on:

3D digital modeling and 2D design: You’ll learn about the various elements that go into designing a sneaker, from the shape and structure to the details that give a sneaker its unique character, using Rhinoceros software for 2D and 3D digital design, and the Adobe Suite for illustration and project presentations.

Shoe Making Techniques: You’ll get deep hands-on training in a variety of materials, understanding their properties and how they can be manipulated to achieve your design goals and ideas. You will work on developing, making and re-shaping iconic models like Nike Air Force 1, Stan Smith and Converse All Star.

Sneaker Decoration and Customization: Experiment with different shapes, colors, and materials to create and paint sneakers that truly reflect your individual style. You will learn how to source the correct materials and use them effectively to customize through hand and airbrush painting.

Second life / Upcycling Sneakers: This module focuses on the concept of giving sneakers a new lease on life by deconstructing and upcycling materials: get ready for a creative journey of transformation. Learn how to disassemble sneakers, deconstruct their components, and explore the possibilities of combining different materials. 

Fashion and Product Design Trends and Research: stay up-to-date with the latest trends, understand their impact on sneaker design, and utilize this knowledge to create designs that are both fashionable and unique.

3D Printing: Master the newest techniques and tools to bring your 3D Design creations into life

Capsule Collection Project: your final, intensive month that will lead you become a contemporary Sneaker Designer

Fashion Revolution is a global movement that aims to promote transparency, sustainability, and ethical practices in the fashion industry. It was founded in response to the Rana Plaza factory collapse in Bangladesh in 2013, which claimed the lives of 1,138 garment workers.
Fashion Revolution seeks to raise awareness about the social and environmental impact of fashion production and consumption, and advocates for a more responsible and sustainable fashion industry. The movement encourages consumers to ask “Who Made My Clothes?” and to demand transparency and accountability from fashion brands and retailers.
Fashion Revolution also works with fashion industry stakeholders, including designers, manufacturers, policymakers, and NGOs, to promote sustainable and ethical practices in fashion production. The movement provides resources and tools to help industry stakeholders improve their sustainability and social responsibility practices.

FINAL PROJECT

The final project consists in the realization of a capsule collection: design of the collection, moodboard, choice of materials and colors, trend analysis, technical and artistic drawing.

This will be the common thread of the course and will lead you to acquire the skills and the knowledge to put your ideas into practice.  You will be encouraged to think and develop the essential elements of your own design identity, starting to define your personal aesthetic vision while commencing to think about possible brand building strategies.

Attendance is mandatory. Classes and workshops are held from Monday to Friday, from 9:30am to 5:30 pm.

-> INTAKES

The next Intake will begin in April 2024.

The school will support students in finding an accommodation during the length of the course. The costs of living are not included in the tuition fee.
