The Jewelry Making Class is an intensive three-week program focused on the design and creation of contemporary porcelain jewelry.
Through a hands-on and material-driven approach, students explore porcelain as a refined and expressive medium, learning to model, carve, and finish small-scale elements that evolve into wearable objects.

The Course

This Ceramic Course adopts a vertical approach centered on porcelain, combining demonstrations, practical exercises, experimentation, and design development.
Students work with crystalline glazes, surface treatments and third-fire decoration, experimenting with precious overglaze lusters such as silver, gold, and platinum, and exploring glossy and metallic finishes.

Final Project

The Jewelry Making Class combines material research, design development, and craftsmanship, encouraging a personal and contemporary approach with jewelry porcelain serving as the medium.

The course concludes with the creation of a small capsule collection of unique handmade porcelain designs, transformed into wearable porcelain jewelry, reflecting each student’s research, experimentation, and personal creative direction.
